Centric’s Sample Review Mobile App for retail, apparel, footwear, luxury goods and consumer goods companies makes the sample review process easier, faster, more accurate and more effective.

Here’s how it works. Designers use the app to view thumbnails of each sample – or the styles associated with the sample – that they will review in a session (see the screenshot below). When they tap on an image, a screen pops up with all of the information from the Centric 8 PLM system that the designer needs to review the sample. Things like artwork specs, tech packs, technical datasheets and size charts are all literally at the designer’s fingertips.

And there’s more! Designers can even take photos and use the comprehensive editing suite to add redlines, free-form sketches and comments. They can also use the microphone on the mobile device to record comments. Everything is instantly added to Centric 8 PLM so everyone throughout the organization and the designated supply chain has access to the same updated information.
