Featuring speeches from:

Anett Wettstein, Technical Director at TALLY WEiJL | A Matter of Time: PLM and the Fast Fashion Lifecycle

An international success story, TALLY WEiJL is constantly collecting inspirations from its Paris Design centre and global trend teams, and adapting these into on-time, on-trend collections for young women, sold in more than 800 stores across 38 countries.

Originally founded in 1984, TALLY WEiJL’s eponymous owner made her fame by generating monthly collections with incredibly limited resources. Today the fast fashion model underpins a philosophy of rapid global expansion and the continuous addition of new product lines – both of which demand the leanest and most agile sourcing and production processes.

Located in the heart of the fashion capital of Paris, Anett Wettstein heads up both production and technical departments at TALLY WEiJL. With hands-on experience as a garment technician, modellist and sartorial artist, Annett provides a unique perspective on the processes and technologies that make up a truly responsive supply chain and product lifecycle.

Annett also oversaw TALLY WEiJL’s PLM project, and her presentation covers the roles that technology, people and processes play in optimising cycle times across product design, development and sourcing for an ever-expanding range of apparel, footwear and accessories.

Julia Dubowy, Director of Operations at MUSTANG JEANS | Mutual Trust and Innovation: The Partnership Between Mustang and Centric Software

MUSTANG is credited with bringing the first jeans to Europe, and today the company distills more than eighty years’ worth of passion for denim into each of its premium collections. With headquarters in Künzelsau, Germany, MUSTANG maintains its position as one of Europe’s most iconic brands through a careful balance of quality, heritage and innovation.

Julia Dobowy manages the brand’s product design, development and sourcing, as well its international retail strategy, spread across multiple European markets.

Working from MUSTANG’s head office, Julia also oversaw the company’s adoption of Centric PLM in 2014, and her presentation takes a detailed look at how the company initially realised its need for PLM, the various factors that led it to initially place its trust in Centric Software and how this strategic partnership has developed and further matured.

As one of the first organisations using Centric Software’s suite of iOS applications, MUSTANG has also been instrumental in defining the future of mobility for fashion – just one component of the value the brand has realised from Centric Software’s policy of continuous innovation. Julia will talk in detail about MUSTANG’s use of mobile devices, as well as their plans for the future of a multi-year, mutually beneficially relationship with Centric; including the implementation of Centric’s Collection Book app for collection management, supplier ranking in Germany and on-site quality assurance in Asia.
